Grand Haven Custom Molding, Inc. has added 3 additional machines to its production floor which include: 1) Brand New 1575 Ton and 2) 950 ton.

Grand Haven Custom Molding has machines ranging in tonnage from 33 ton up to 1575 ton.

GHCM puts material silos in operation

Grand Haven Custom Molding has put two material silos into operation due to a new project requiring large quantities of plastic resin.

The two silos will each hold 70,000 pounds of material which will be loaded from tanker trucks that will deliver the resin.

At peak production, this new project will use up to 9000 pounds of plastic resin per day.

GHCM Adds New Jobs and Equipment

Since August 15th, when GHCM was awarded an Industrial Facilities Tax Abatement, the company has added 12 new employees. All of these employess are direct hires and will recieve health insurance benefits.

GHCM has also added another brand new injection molding machine, conveyor system, and 3 robots to their new equipment purchases.

As business continues to grow, GHCM plans to continue to add more direct hires and additional brand new equipment.

The Grand Haven Tribune recently published an article about Grand Haven Custom Molding and its plans to expand and add new jobs to the community.

Grand Haven City Council unanimously approved an Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption Certificate for Grand Haven Custom Molding on Monday, a move that officials say will help the local business grow in the coming months.

“This abatement is very important to us,” company owner Karl Chapel said Monday night. “The economy is tough and we need as many additional jobs in the community as we can get.”
